Ramayana Asian Market is a great place to go if you're looking for something unique for your home or just some cool accessories. They sell products from several different countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India. You'll find handbags, necklaces, pillows, curtains, wooden statues, and even some furniture. They also sell women's clothing, incense, and candles.
I found this neat looking chair there today that would look great in my home if only I had the space and wasn’t afraid that one of my kids would end up poking their eye out with one of the twigs sticking out of it. Artsy but perhaps not so practical for me. Maybe when the kids have been shipped off to college in about 15 years!
Directions from Lester:
-Take a LEFT out of the gate to head South on Hwy 58.
-Pass the intersection with signs on the right for Hamby Town and San-A (yellow sign with three red triangles).
-Make a U-turn at the next traffic signal.
-Pass Skylark Gusto restaurant on your left and look out on your left for Ramayana Asian Market. You’ll see about 5 stone statues lined up in front of their parking lot.

I believe that there are several of this store on the island as well so check out their website and you might be able to find one that is close to you.
Oh, and the Yakiniku place that shares their parking lot is good and a nice replacement for the Gan Jyu Tei that we used to down the street (not there anymore). This new one has decent lunchtime prices and dinner is not too bad either depending on how long you want to be there for.
So glad to see a post on this. I adore the Ramayana stores.
Hi…love your site, I was stationed there many moons ago; my favorite store was Ramayana…trying to locate the website to see if I can order anything offline…I miss Oki
