I saw the add for FLEX in the Okinawa Living magazine and though it looked good! So a couple days ago we finally had the chance to go and try it!
Flex Bar
The place is pretty big. They have a bar, and they also have some tables outside facing Araha beach. We sat inside, a table for two. Next to our table there was a poster about an event with live music and live painting taking place at FLEX on at the end of the month — so it seems they have a lot of fun things going on there.
We ordered a medium portion of Jerk Chicken to share, a Jerk Pork plate (the pork, salad and rice or bread) and my husband decided to try Jerk chicken taco rice.

As we waited, we got to listening to reggae music. The portions were generous and it was all very tasty! And the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We really liked it and we will be back to try some other stuff from the menu.

We tried it out tonight and it was fabulous! My wife and I with our twin almost three year olds. We had jerk chicken and pork, friend chicken, and curry shrimp. All were really good. I grew up with a Jamaican family that was and still is very close and I have eaten a TON of jerk food and this place is very authentic! Great cold red stripe to boot! Parking was right behind restaurant and they let us stay there and stroll the beach. Music was great and not too loud. We will be back! Next time I will get the ox tail and the curry goat!
Went here a few weeks ago. This place was really good! I had the jerk chicken plate and my wife had the jerk chicken taco rice. Both were really good. They also have great drinks and desserts. We’ll be back.
The food is awesome and the ambiance is great. I was visiting the area from the states and found it by accident…So glad I did…I have brought more people with me each time. I have been back three times on my occasional visits to Okinawa. The live band is true… good music…very authentic and relaxing. Great customer service… two thumbs up!!!
