In need of some girl-iness? I have THE spot.

The Loop is a fabulous coffee and tea shop between Gate 2 & 5 that serves a long list of yummy coffees and teas in delightful tea cups with the most gorgeous little flower bud spoons and colored sugar granules and tea toast with cinnamon and sugar, or chocolate cake or a host of other fabulous snacks. And the best part is that you can buy the tea cup and the spoon, the sugar and even something to brew or grind your coffee with on your way out. It’s like girl-iness and shopping all in one! What could be better?

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had a great time just chatting and relaxing and laughing and, of course, eating!

I was also excited to find they have an upstairs room that can be reserved for baby showers or birthday parties or other get togethers.

  1. What a gem! This is a place where the beverages are crafted, not just made. We went here today and it was just delightful. We were a party of 4. The service was great. It was (in Jan 16) passed down from a mom to her daughter & her husband who now run it. I think the menu was slightly different front what was offered before. They offer handcrafted ginger ale currently in addition to other delights. The coffee was just perfect. The presentation was such a treat! We had cakes and toast- all was delicious and presented with great care. I would not think it appropriate for youngsters that can’t sit for a good while quietly- but for our group of 8+ years old it was a great way to spend a lazy afternoon chatting, enjoying the atmosphere, and delighting in the goodies.

  2. This is a wonderful little coffee shop located close to Kadena. Their Italian cappuccino is my absolute favorite drink! They have a great selection of teacups, grinders, and coffee pots to browse while waiting for your delicious drink to be made. 🙂

  3. Adorable place great food and drinks. Keep an open mind while following these directions given. You can almost miss the bldg it’s right on the corner! A wonderful quiet time for a girls time out!

  4. I was there recently for the 1st time. What a lovely place. It’s a nice place to have a quiet time to read or relax. My friend ordered a glass of coke for 500 yen and I had a blue soda float for 650 yen. Coffee and tea are around that range and the sandwiches looked really yummy. If I remember correctly they are about 500 yen and up from a plain toast with butter and jam but the slices were thick. The place opens 1030 – 2100 (last order at 2000). Close on Sun. Phone number is 098 932 3751.

    • I went here with a friend today! Such a stinking cute spot!!! It was lovely. Just wish I didn’t have my 2 yr old with me. He only lasted 2 hours before he was ready to leave. Great place to relax and catch up with a friend!!!
