While driving up 330 one day, I happened to glance to my left and see a large playground. My kids know that I love a good playground as much as they do, so we pulled in to check it out. We were more than pleasantly surprised. This park was big! How had we never heard of it?
Ikoi No Citizens Park looks to be on the newer side. It is also well-maintained. The park has a playground with swings, multiple concrete slides, a zipline, seesaw, and a rollerslide. That’s enough to keep my kids busy for a while.
The park also has tennis courts, basketball courts, a skateboarding area, an area with exercise equipment, and walking paths. Bathrooms and vending machines are also centrally located. What more could you need? Maybe an area for the kids to cool off? That’s covered too! It’s easy to spend a whole afternoon here.
I’m not sure what time it opens, but the parking lots close at 10:00 p.m.
Directions: From Foster, go out the legion gate and take a right at the stoplight onto 330/81. Take a left at the stoplight to stay on 330. It’s approximately 3.6 km down on the right. There isn’t a sign for the park, but it pulls right into a large parking lot and you can see the park. If you hit the 100 Yen Plaza, you’ve gone too far.
