We arrived at the salon, which is located near Plaza Housing by the McDonald’s on 330, and followed the hard-to-miss signs to the second level. The entrance is well decorated with flowers and cute sayings. Upon entering the salon, we removed our shoes and were politely greeted and asked to sit on a comfy couch where our consultation began.
Ms. Miyuki explained aromatherapy to us, as we are accustomed to Swedish massages. She has diagrams in English and Japanese, explaining the different oils and their uses. Some treat headaches, others sore muscles, and there are even some to promote mental health- sign me up! We settled on an herbal mixture used to promote relaxation and relieve stress.
We were lead to a very clean, professional massage room with great décor and a terrific atmosphere. Even though the salon is in a busy area, the nature recording made for a relaxing experience without background noise. The massage was very relaxing and the ladies adjusted their massage pressure to our preferences. We were sad when the 60 minutes ended. Next time, we will pay for 90!
