My mother is in town so some questions were asked. You know, about these here Japanese toilets. I did some research.
While the traditional toilets are not exclusive to Japan I have yet to see one on American soil. I unearthed an animated how-to on this topic. I hemmed and hawed about whether or not to include it because it’s a bit graphic. So consider yourself warned if graphic isn’t your style. Dozou.
As for the modern Japanese toilet, I can’t imagine another place on earth that could dream up this kind of technology. HERE is a video of a kind, young man giving an informative tour of one such toilet.
In my cyber-travels on this topic I kept stumbling on a Japanese potty-training video starring Shimajiro. I figured while we were in the bathroom I might as well share it. Why not potty-train in Japanese?
