Editor’s Note: Laula Ilikai is in the same location as the former Tony’s Honolulu Hamby. You can click here to read the article on Tony’s, which is now closed. We’re keeping it in our archives for anyone who might be trying to look it up.
If you were a fan of Tony’s Honolulu Hamby, you will love Laula Ilikai. Laula Ilikai is now where Tony’s used to be located. This little gem of a restaurant is tucked in between some clubbing clothiers and a dentist office near Camp Foster.
I ordered the salmon dish and thought it was grilled to perfection! It was served with a fresh, aromatic pico de gallo and jasmine rice. They also serve some Hawaiian favorites like Loco Moco and their own Hawaiian spin on taco rice. More adventurous types can try their fried alligator … it’s surprisingly yummy! (And I usually don’t eat strange foods.)
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar.
